Our firm was founded by CPA Brad Hennebert in 2003 as New Albany Tax & Accounting (creative name, right?), specializing primarily in helping taxpayers solve serious IRS problems. Shortly thereafter we changed our name to Tax Defense Ohio, as practicing with complicated tax problem cases before the IRS was Brad’s specialization.
Now over 20 years have gone by, we merged with John Parisi CPAs four years ago, and for many years we’ve primarily served clients with complex individual tax returns and helping business owners with their numerous and complicated filing requirements, and especially tax planning.
Consultative Style
We want to work with our business clients on a monthly basis or at least quarterly to help give you advice during the year when you can still make adjustments. Sometimes if we just see you at tat time its like we’re just keeping score of what happened last year.
We are moving up the street from our current location to 259 N State Street, Westerville, 43081, in January 2024.
The Alkire House building is a fantastic structure – it’s a 180-year-old house that was used as part of the Underground Railroad prior to the Civil War and is on the National Historic Registry.
